My day started with some cleaning up and laundry, but then I headed out for some fun. I indulged in a plate full of food, ran to the ice cream truck like I was a 5 year old again, and enjoyed a little sparkle before heading in for the night. As I've gotten older, I kind of put what I think of as kiddie things behind me, but every now and then it's good to bring out the things that were so fun as a little one. I usually grump about the loudness of fireworks, but I can't deny they can look so pretty.
