Today's outfit was centered around a pair of new shoes. I'm usually one for classic pieces, but every now and then I'll try out a trend. However, if Forever 21 is trying to bring back overalls, I am not biting. I remember my very colorful ones in elementary school that I coordinated with my purple and pink hi-top Reeboks and I cringe at those old pictures. These oxfords kept my feet feeling comfy all day and I tried to add some femininity with a blouse. I still need to play around with outfits to figure out how to temper the masculine vibe of the shoes. Perhaps a dress, a skirt and casual top, feminine tops with a pair of pants? It's time to play dress up.
Are there any trends you've been hesitant to try?

I'm with you, I used to wear them, but this time I'll pass. I can't imagine wearing them now. Ick!! Loving those new shoes of yours I almost bought some similar brogues today!
