Outfit of the Day- Tight Weave

I live for dressing on the weekends, it's the opportunity to wear whatever I'm in the mood for without thinking of a dress code. The time for trying out the tights and shorts combo finally came and I must say, it was an interesting experience. I'm not sure about the tights I chose, are they a bit much? They were forced to be apart of the outfit because I got a fresh hole in a brand new pair of Gap tights (you are on my list, Gap!!!).

After spending my morning taking care of and shelling out the equivalent of really nice designer purse on my car, I was not too happy. The bf and I headed out for dinner and a movie and I dressed the part of sullen teen who loves black, not smiling, and clothing that would not be considered conservative (ah, those were the days, lol).

But as Annie said, the sun will come out tomorrow, so after a serious pouty face day, I tried to look on the bright side. That would be......oh right. My car is running better, but my wallet has been crying since the incident. :)

  1. I'm so with you about the car repairs! I had some auto work done in August, and thought the same exact thing...I could have gotten a nice bag or an awesome designer dress for that amount of money. So frustrating!!!!

  3. @Kelly- I agree, incredibly frustrating! And what's worse is I know I need a few other things fixed at some point soon. I'm praying no other issues come up.

@Helena-Thanks for the compliment. I want to add some funkier tights to my collection with you being my inspiration. :)

  5. Thanks basiccravings! This are my first pair of cut-offs and I think I paid about $10 for them. They have served me well so far and give me something a bit edgier in my wardrobe.
