OOTD- The Witching Hour

Double, double, toil and trouble...or however, it goes!!

I hope you all had a great weekend!! As you can see, I was jumping for joy!!

So my fellow blogger Grechen (from Grechens Closet) and I bought this same dress from Swirl. Her husband joked that all she needed was a broom when she wore hers and as I was putting this outfit together, I couldn't help but think I'm just missing my pointy hat and evil cackle. This dress has a wonderful asymmetrical hemline and a great flow, but it was a small struggle to get the right accents to make it look chic. I gave it a good ole' college try with a pop of color and some interesting tights, but next go round will definitely not invoke images of being a little witchy.

Outfit Details:
Dress- Mark & Estel (similar here in shorter length, similar tank style here)
Purple pashmina- ???
Patterned tights- Anna Sui (similar here)
Black pumps- Taryn Rose

  2. Ina, I am so excited to hear that you drew some inspiration from my outfit! I thought I would take a chance with the whole combination, but like the way it turned out. I would love to know what you came up with to wear with the marled cardigan. It's my new favorite piece.

  3. Witchy? I think not! I love the flowy black on you! I think as long as you refrain from wearing this with striped tights, you'll stay clear of any witch imagery, haha! But seriously, I love the drape of that dress!

my husband doesn't understand this dress, but i love it. it is kind of tricky to get "right" sometimes, but it's so easy to throw on
