OOTD- Cozy Sweater Weather

The start of the weekend is always welcomed by me; the chance to wear jeans, make plans, steal a tractor ; ). Although the wind almost blew me away today like Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz, I didn't mind so much since I got to put on my trench coat and sweater. I think a nice trench coat is an essential item and so easy to make you look chic no matter what you're wearing underneath. That's why I had to make this trench mine when Jean Paul Gaultier debuted his line at Target earlier this year. Although it's a 1 on a scale of 10 and Burberry being the highest, I love the extra detailing. And my sweater is love to me because of the vibrant color. I found this gem hiding in the thrift store and had to laugh at the fact that this is the piece I discovered because a year ago I found the exact same sweater/jacket at a consignment shop in black. I feel like I should give one up but how can I give up such coziness and cuteness. The question is black or blue or both?

Shh, keep this a secret!!!!

  2. Very chic outfit! And I totally agree with your take on the trench!

I've been known to pose with a tractor or two (not being sarcastic at all here), so your secret is safe with me!

  4. Yaaaay, a trench coat! Those are ALWAYS wonderful items to have. As for the sweater, I love the blue on you and the sleeves and swing shape are so darling! If you have to pick between them, I'd pick the blue, but if you can also dress up the black version, then why not keep both? Haha!

  5. Thanks guys!

@Chrissy and Amy Kelinda- you guys, telling me both doesn't help, lol. I've never been one to have multiples in my closet, but I suppose the good price on both makes it okay. I'm still thinking it over.

@Miranda- yes, the weather was perfect this weekend. I tried to take advantage by going for a little drive and enjoying being outside without a jacket.

@PearlsandGreenTea and Ashley- you can't go wrong with a great prop. :)
