OOTD- Walking Shorts Stroll

Pardon the goofy face, but isn't that wind action awesome!!??  :)

I've come to the conclusion that linen bottoms just don't work for me, so I broke out some of my warm weather items that were packed away last year and took these linen shorts for a last hurrah (off to the consignment shop you go). I have a pretty purple pair in mind to replace you.

Elaine of I'm Clothed Much posted a picture last week wearing the cutest scarf headband bow in her hair. I commented to her that she shouldn't be too upset if she sees me rocking it. Although I only have a little baby bow going on, it was the perfect touch to keep my hair off my face and add something fun to my outfit.

Are you big into headbands/turbans/headscarves??

  1. Awww, I love the scarf headband! The baby bow is too cute, and I looked at Elaine's and hers is so glamorous! I can see why you were inspired! A blogger named Chloe (of chloetonic) rocks a turban pretty frequently and she always pulls it off so beautifully. I get so jealous!

I LOVE that last shot of you -- the wind action is awesome, but I also love your "goofy" expression! You're too, too cute!

  2. @Amy- Aww, you're so sweet. I'll have to check out chloetonic!! I so wish I could rock a turban, but I'm not sure it's for me, although I love to see it on other people.

  3. The headband looks SO cute on you! And the outfit is fab!
I look ridiculous with any type of headband..sadly. Otherwise, I would be rocking them big time :)

  4. Yes, ma'am! I love wearing a headscarf. For a few years, I would get at least one for each gift giving holiday/birthday. I've been trying to figure out how to tie a bow on the scarf like yours. Does the scarf have to be a certain shape?
I love those bright yellow wedge sandals, too! They're so bright and cheerful!

  5. @Kimmie- I know you definitely love a headscarf!! For the bow I used a a silky long rectangular scarf. You definitely need one that can be wrapped around your head a few times with enough material left over to create the bow.
