OOTD- After the Simple Life

This little romper was a surprise trendy piece that I gave a thumbs up to last year. After wearing it that one time, I stuck it in a bag to dry clean and completely forgot about it until finding said bag full of old stuff recently and actually doing something with it. Does anyone else take forever to dry-clean or do laundry? I had a college roommate that did laundry every week, if not more often. I always wondered why she washed so often since I generally wait until I'm running out of clean underwear. Is that tmi?? Well, it's true.

And getting back to my adult onesie... my Winter Kate flowy cardigan lended this outfitit a slight boho vibe; something I've been channeling this summer. And if I can see Nicole Ritchie wearing it, I think that means I'm on the right track.

Do you sometimes channel a favorite fashion icon or celebrity when picking out an outfit?

  2. I do what I call "ghetto dry cleaning" I spray it with Febreeze, shove it in the dryer, and set it to the "freshen up" mode. Otherwise, nothing would get cleaned.

    Loving the Winter Kate cardigan!

  4. @ Marcia- Thanks for such sweet comments!!

@basiccravings- I had to lol at your version of laundry, but if it gets the job done that's all that matters.

@Rosa- Nothing wrong with clean clothes on the regular. I just wish I had the discipline and desire to do it.

  6. Oh Laundry. It is the bane of my existence.
You look so happy in these pics. Like a kid on Christmas morning who got everything she wanted happy. My feelings are if something makes you feel that good, you should buy it in every color :).
