OOTD- Didn't Mean to Wear My Robe!

In my continuous quest to get more mileage out of my wardrobe, I thought of a different way to wear my Tucker for Targ dress. In the initial stage of getting dressed, I left it open so it could look great flowing in the wind if I happen to catch a breeze, but that was a big fail since it looked like I was wearing a robe. I tried to tweak it a little to get rid of the Mrs. Roper vibe. Still not sure if it worked, but it made me really excited to continue re-working other pieces in my wardrobe and I realized khaki skirts and I don't work well together.

Have you multi-purposed anything in your wardrobe? What did you do and did you like the way it turned out?
