OOTD- Vested Interest




I felt like my wardrobe was missing a good vest, so when this popped up on Old Navy's website, I thought it would be a perfect little addition. However, when I tried to style it over the weekend, I felt like it was giving me a sailor/fisherman vibe. I suppose the belt with the anchor buckle I tried to put on wasn't helping either. Given the inherent casualness of this vest, I thought I would take a stab at making it work...for work. I didn't feel like all I needed was a fishing pole and some bait, but you can bet I would be prepared anyway with all of these pockets.

    BAD CALL letting me know where you got that bag, because now I wants it! Even more so now that I know it's affordable and not some vintage Minkoff that'll make me want to ransack your closet, haha!

    I loe you in that est - I've kind of been considering a similar vest for fall after seeing SJP wear something like it on an old ep of SATC.

    Yes, we can be bag twins!! Just be warned that it is really big. No need to ransack my closet, I might be willing to share.

    There is an outfit of SJP from the first movie wearing a vest and you just reminded me of that so I might have to recreate that outfit.

    It does remind me of a fishing vest but you definitely made it work with that outfit! Your necklace goes really well with it!
