Recently Acquired- You Look Familiar

This is a picture of some lovely new additions to my wardrobe. I think I went for a theme here, can you guess what I'm crazy about at the moment?

J. Crew Juliet pumps via JCA Weekly Exchange, J. Crew outlet patent leopard belt, ASOS leopard scarf

Tons of new magazines have been touting that animal print is big for this season, but I'm in the camp that it never really goes out of style. Even if you take a simple black dress, a bit of leopard can add a nice splash of oomph.

Are you a fan of animal prints or is it too much for you?

Way out of my budget, but great for if I win the lottery dreams.

J. Crew Leopard Patent Belt, $39.50

Pretty much the same belt I was able to score.

Although I'm on the hunt for a nice oxford, this one wouldn't allow for as much versatility as I'm looking for, but it would be great with a sweater, some cropped jeans or cargo pants, a trench and maybe a cute hat. That might make a nice outfit, perhaps I should reconsider. :)

This is the scarf that I bought and pictured. I can't wait to throw it on over my jackets and dresses this fall.

Great for any solid coat or jacket and keeps the fingers free for texting!

Outfit of the Day-Sweatin' So Pretty

I walked out of the house feeling nice and cute and by the time I made it to work, it looked like I had spent time in the gym working on my fitness, sweat city. Ms. Mother Nature, I know it is ridiculous to complain about it being hot in the summer time, but could a slight cold front head this way. My silky shirts will thank you.

The haziness of this photo is a demonstration of how hazy and hot the weather has been.

The boyfriend thinks this looks like a briefcase. I say it's just a working girl's handbag, fit for everyday junk and files. Maybe some snacks or two!!!

Just wanted to show off my new to me ring. Someone commented that it looks like a class ring, which is true, but I bought it because it is as close to a David Yurman ring as I'll get.

I had to get the super bright yellow truck in the background. Everybody sees him coming!!

Outfit of the Day- Button to the Top

I have to keep this post nice and short as I'm knee-deep in packing. Although I am 80% done, there are still lots of little things to remember. Who wants to be hundreds of miles away from home and realize that they forgot underwear, the curling iron, or their Visa? Not that I have done any of those things, but I want to make sure that it definitely doesn't happen before my brain is done for the evening.

This dress is one of my rarely worn pieces, but for some reason I can't get rid of it. I feel like such a traitor if I dare think to part with something from one of my favorite designers, Marc Jacobs. I thought it would be the perfect companion to these shoes (which suck by the way, just say no to strappy shoes that cut into your foot) and my new purse! As much as I would love the highly coveted Mulberry Alexa, my Forever 21 version will have to do until $1000 magically appears in my wallet. Does anyone know the whereabouts of the magical purse fairy?

P.S. Please excuse the fact that I am a wrinkle monster. This was after a very long day filled with lots of sitting.
