OOTD-Blinding Bright

With a running theme of layering and doing a happy dance because I can wear boots, I threw on this ensemble to run some errands. I hope the people of Target appreciated the fact that I wasn't wearing my baggy sweats and tee, but I had to put on a real outfit to do my "new" boots justice. Although they weren't exactly the kind of boot that I was looking for, I spotted them on Ebay and thought they would be a great touch of fun to my wardrobe. And to add even more attention to my feet, I decided to pair my obnoxiously bright hot pink socks with them. Maybe it was too much, maybe not, but I've been dying to try the whole socks with open-toed shoes. That's scary fashion territory for me, so this was a great way to get a taste of it.

Do you like to actually get dressed up to run a simple errand or do you wear whatever?

  1. I love the pink socks with this outfit, so cute! I saw that sweater at F21 and thought about getting it...but I was trying to be good, especially now that I'm on a shopping ban.
I try to look nice when I run errands. Not dress up really but just put together.

  2. Lily, I applaud your resistance to the sweater. Keep up with the shopping ban. Forever 21 is a major weakness for me, especially since they update so frequently and the prices are great.

  3. Lol, you should just always dress up to avoid those somewhat not so hot looking outfits. :)

Ina, I'm not entirely sure which J Brands I have on. I just know that they are a skinny ankle lenght style. I love my J Brand jeans so I'm sure you'll like them.
