What's On the Birthday Girl's Wishlist??

Let's all cheer because today is my birthday!!! Now let's boo for the fact that it is only Wednesday and out of the one day this week it wants to snow. As a winter baby, I've learned to deal with that possibility, so to keep the day a happy occasion I've decided to spend some money. Granted these are all wishes so they may or may not happen, but let's hope a magical genie will appear on my way to work today to make them realities.

Birthday Wishlist:

Hudson Nico Mid Rise Super Skinny Jeans in Neb-Nebula, $178, available here

I'm having a thing for printed pants lately and I thought I would take a foray into flowered jeans, but these are calling me. You can't deny they are something different!!

Loeffler Randal Dita Platform Pump, $425, available here

Loeffler Randall never fails to kill me with a fabulous looking shoe. To continue my theme of prints, these shoes would be perfect for spring. Now, if I can only find that money tree, these and several other beauties on the website could be mine.

Botkier Valentina Satchel in Blush, $395, available here

No list of mine is complete without a handbag and this one is just perfection. That soft blush tone is begging to be carried with any and everything, although the minty green color is running a close second.

I plan on making these thangs later on this week. If I devour the whole batch by myself, let's just say I'm still celebrating.

I am dying to have my own cute puppy, so you know I was awwing all over the place while watching the Puppy Bowl on Sunday. I'll take anyone of these cuties although I'm kind of partial to ones with eye patches. :)

Shop M-A-C lipstick in Runway Red, $18, available here

New make-up is always a welcome treat. Last year, I splurged on some Tom Ford lipstick and still love to see that sexy red color in that sleek packaging. MAC knows color and there's nothing better than some new color to re-energize the make-up routine.

Do you like to treat yourself to birthday gifts or do you let other's shower you on with presents on your special day?

I Would Like to Thank the Academy

I just want to thank you all for the warm birthday wishes. I had a great day from start to finish and the comments helped to keep that big smile on my face. The morning started with being greeted by the boyfriend with a balloon and gift bag in hand. I had a nice, leisurely lunch and strolled through a million stores. And I enjoyed dinner and a drink with my favorite gal.

Thanks for the drink, mom!!!

Some loot: Thanks to the bf, I am the new owner of a fancy-pants camera and he replenished my supply of Viva La Juicy. He is totally awesome and gets a million gold stars.
I gifted myself a delicious smelling Capri Blue candle and some red Tom Ford lipstick.

What was the best birthday gift you ever received?

Birthday Wishes

Today is my birthday and I'm such a grown-up now that I've turned all of 13. :)

To commemorate the wonderful occasion, I've put together a wishlist of things this birthday girl would love to see wrapped up in a pretty box with a big bow.

Miu Miu Bow Tie Mary Jane Bootie, $675

Because a girl just can't resist a bow.

J. Crew Sequin Fete Dress, $275

What could be better than a little shimmer on the special day?

Hermes Clic-Clac H Bracelet, $560

A Birkin will never happen, so this would do just fine.

A short getaway for some Vegas fun!!

The ultimate party location.

To be honest, as great as it would be to have nice, new things, I'm not wishing for anything big. I just want my friends and family to be happy and healthy. And since having a birthday on a Tuesday is not so great, here's what I'll be doing to get some joy out of my day:

Double Serge Pencil Skirt in Bright Dahlia

Bright color and finally wearing this skirt that has been bypassed in my closet for months!!

Cupcakes!!!!!

Sugar and cupcakes make any day ten times better.

What is a small thing that brings a smile on your face?

Outfit of the Day- A Day of Birthdays, Cake, and Bracelets

Yesterday, I took the day off from work, partly because I knew it would be full of things to do. July 1st is both my brother's and my boyfriend's birthday, plus my father's is at the end of the month. There's lots of celebrating and gifts going on in this summer month.
In the morning, I indulged my man's sweet tooth by taking him someplace that's designed for the breakfast of kids and adults all over the country:

Yum-tastic cereal made with whatever you like!

I opted for oatmeal (bananas, cinnamon, and other stuff)
I'm not the biggest fan of cereal, unless its loaded with sugar and chocolate.

He had a smores mix with cocoa pebbles, marshmallows, and lots of chocolate.

I was feeling a bit retro and decided to put on my wide-leg jeans. A nice tan belt, platform shoes and button up shirt could have taken me all the way back to the 70's. I went for the trend du jour instead and pulled out the stripes.

This is my wanna-be-Chanel purse. I scored this for $7 at the thrift store.

Loaded up the arm with bracelets!

For the evening, I headed out with my mother, sister-in-law, and the other birthday boy in my life to dinner. We went to a restaurant that has American inspired dishes that are designed to include fresh and organic food. I did a wardrobe change into something comfy and casual, but still cute and appropriate for a night out. I indulged in some fried green tomatoes, pot roast and topped it off with red velvet cake and ice cream (my absolute favorite).

Loaded up the arm again, but this time included my new bracelet from F21. I love it! It has been dubbed the kissing giraffes or zebras or whatever they are.
