OOTD- Some Serious Leopard Lovin'

As you can see, I'm well on my way to a closet overrun by leopard prints and this is just a start. I'll soon rival my aunt's house of leopard print everything; plates, pillows, towels, you name it. This cutie of a blouse is from EmersonMade. If you guys aren't familiar, check it out now. This line of clothing is the perfect marriage of classic styles with a touch of whimsy. I would gladly buy every single piece that is made, if it wouldn't leave my bank balance so in the red. It doesn't help that Emerson looks so darn cute modelling all of the clothes and looking like she's having the time of her life.

Red pants never struck me as being very versatile, but they have proven to be surprisingly so. It even has me contemplating buying another color, like hot pink.

Would you or have you dared to buy some colored denim or are you sticking to the classic washes?

  1. I am loving the colored pant. I am still on the hunt for the perfect one. I love animal prints on others, but have never loved it on me. I found two silk leopard print skirts recently while thrifiting that you would love!

  2. I have a light yellow pair that I can't figure out. I love those on you and they are perfect with the blouse.

    Lookin' good!

  3. I LOVE the colors here -- the RM bag is gorgeous, too! And hey, leopard print is incredible, so why not have a closet full of it? Haha! And you KNOW I covet your red pants...

Also, I gave you a little shout-out on my blog -- participate if you'd like! (http://kelindakelinda.blogspot.com/2011/05/orange-punch.html)

  4. I love EmersonMade!
    Great blouse.

  5. Ooh, I've never gotten anything from EmersonMade but I love her stuff. And you're right - the styling and the girl! totally make me want those pieces even more! How did you find the fit?

(And the RM MAB - droooooool)

  6. :) Thanks guys!!

@basiccravings- Oh, I would love to see those skirts. I'm sadly lacking a leopard skirt in my wardrobe.

@Miranda- I think light yellow denim would look great with whites, blues and even that purple vintage top that you love so much. You can totally work them!!

@Lisa- Based on the sizing chart, I ended up in my regular size (L). Sometimes, I find that tops like this are a bit tight for me (because of my large chest) and that wasn't an issue whatsoever. It fits great!!

  7. Colored pants never looked good on me. At least not how I envision them. I haven't given up, though. :)

    Cute outfit!

  8. I love EmersonMade!
    Great blouse.
